HOME TOUR: NEW YORK DESIGNER BENNETT LEIFER
The charming home of New York-based interior designer, Bennett Leifer was recently featured in Architectural Digest, giving us a glimpse into his Prewar Apartment in Gramercy Park. I love his work as he always maintains a traditional and timeless style throughout all of the spaces he designs. He creates interiors that feel luxurious, sophisticated and at times out of the ordinary.
Drawing inspiration from the Neo-Gothic architecture, this talented designer dressed this one bedroom apartment with a neutral colour palette and refreshed it with visually striking colourful finishes. There are so many beautiful details that I love, from the redesigned fireplace, the eclectic artworks to the splendid furniture pieces.
With so many cues taken from nature, it feels to me that Leifer wanted to bring the outdoor into his home to create a special place that is calm, at peace and above all welcoming.
